House of Blues Myrtle Beach

N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has the reputation of being America's Party Beach, especially during Spring Break. After a day of surf and sand, what better way to enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled vacation than going to dinner and a concert all in the same place?

The House of Blues Myrtle Beach has all that and more. The original investors (to name just a few) were River Phoenix, Harvard University, Paul Schaffer, Dan Aykroyd and James Belushi, and yes, they stop in for lunch and dinner and maybe even the famous Sunday Gospel Brunch!

There are several restaurants from which to choose, but the cooking is down home and delicious in all of them. For dinner, try the crispy catfish nuggets with sweet potato shoestrings and cajun tartar sauce for starters and the New Orleans style seafood gumbo with andouille sausage, shrimp, crawfish, oysters and okra in a brown roux or the cajun meatloaf with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes for a main course. The must-have dessert is the tantalizing white chocolate and walnut brownie with caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. And don't worry about the calories. You'll work it off at the beach!

The Sunday Gospel Brunch is inspiring with live acts from legends like Al Green and a buffet that feeds your body and soul with heavenly offerings of smoked bacon, southern fried chicken, homemade biscuits and a made to order omelet station.

With a full schedule of concerts year round, musicians can be found regularly in the restaurants before or after performances. Acts like Ashlee Simpson, Hootie and the Blowfish, BB King, Robert Plant, the Back Street Boys and Buddy Guy keep the fans coming back for more!
